About Silver Arc Search Marketing

Our Story

Silver Arc Search Marketing was founded in 2009 by Tony Verre. After several years working in online marketing world, creating and implementing extensive search marketing, search engine optimization, and social media campaigns, Tony decided clients deserved more attention, more focused strategies, and the flexibility to run multiple search marketing strategies simultaneously.

Working for anyone else or adhering to standards that didn’t meet his own, was not only intolerable, slighting clients to potential rewards a honed search marketing campaign could offer. He sought the advice of old friends and industry veterans and Silver Arc Search Marketing was born.

Get to Know the CEO

Known as “The Milwaukee SEO“, I’ve worked in search engine marketing, specializing in SEO and PPC, for over 6 years. I am a columnist at Search News Central, the source for the seriously obsessed search geek, and was featured in Doc Sheldon’s “Critical Thinking for the Discerning SEO“.

I recently published a new book eProfitability with my good friend Matt Collins; a guide for C-Level executives and upper management to understand the search landscape and maximize their profitability online.

A Long, Strange Trip

I’m former United States Army, serving for eight years, with one tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom and some other international misadventures. In a former life, I taught high school students (9-12) in Milwaukee Public School System. I have been married 5 years now to an amazing woman and have three little girls.

Credentialism

I have a Master of Arts in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; completed Market Motive’s SEO Master Course (summer of 2009 class), Google AdWords Qualified Individual, and have my Google Analytics Individual Qualification.

Blunt Honesty

I like to think that I’m thoughtful, creative, and a sound pragmatist. You’ll quickly see I have a wonderful/awful tendency to be bluntly honest. About everything. But, mostly, I think that quality lends itself to building trust with our clients. They never have to worry if Silver Arc is giving the whole story because it’s something that is ingrained in heart and soul of the company. We don’t pull punches, we don’t use kid-gloves.

In time when online and search marketing is quickly becoming a cornerstone of every company’s marketing repertoire, not providing a full assessment of your situation is damaging and dangerous for everyone. You don’t have the time to beat around the bush, and neither do we.
